Helping SQA Support the NHS

This week, the Quorum “Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA)” project team are delighted to get involved and help our client respond to a call-to-action for all public sector organisations to make available any working desktops or mobile IT equipment which are currently in storage, being used as spares, in non-essential business areas that are no longer required, or are otherwise going unused.

We have recently worked with SQA on a Windows 10 upgrade which included the replacement of a number of older devices – this means that SQA had a number of devices that were about to be decommissioned but can now be repurposed and distributed to support those in the frontline and various NHS charities.

The initiative is being driven by HP and Capito where this equipment can be re-used by colleagues across the public sector to provide interim support that enables mobile or home working.  These may include frontline services, NHS wards, and health charities. We’ll be supporting SQA in sharing almost 300 devices which were due to be retired but which Capito can now re-purpose for the NHS to support them through this crisis.

We are proud of our teams who continue to work so hard to support our clients through this crisis. At Quorum, we believe one of our biggest assets is the strength of our client relationships and to be able to add value and continue to support our clients during this difficult period is so important to us. With so much going on just now, it’s wonderful to have a bit of good news.
