Quorum Accepted as an Assured Service Provider with the National Cyber Security Centre
We are proud to announce that Quorum has officially been accepted as an Assured Service Provider under the National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC) Cyber Advisor scheme. This prestigious recognition affirms our commitment to delivering high-quality, government-assured cyber security services to organisations across the UK.

The Cyber Advisor scheme, developed by the NCSC in partnership with IASME, is designed to provide small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with accessible, cost-effective cyber security advice and hands-on support. It addresses a critical gap in the market, ensuring that even the smallest organisations can access trusted guidance to protect themselves from the most common cyber threats.
At the heart of this scheme is the Cyber Essentials framework, a UK Government-backed standard that outlines five key technical controls proven to defend against the majority of cyber-attacks. As an Assured Service Provider, Quorum is now formally recognised as a trusted source of advice on implementing these controls, helping clients strengthen their cyber resilience whether or not they are pursuing formal certification.
Our acceptance into the scheme also means that our team includes an officially assessed Cyber Advisor! Congratulations to Jamie McKie for achieving this milestone. Jamie’s expertise, combined with Quorum’s long-standing experience in cyber security, ensures that our clients receive tailored, practical support that aligns with their business needs.
How the Cyber Advisor Scheme Works
The Cyber Advisor scheme assures buyers that the advice they receive meets NCSC standards. Advisors are independently assessed not only on their technical knowledge of Cyber Essentials but also on their ability to deliver hands-on support and communicate effectively with SMEs. Importantly, all Cyber Advisors must work for an organisation, like Quorum, that has itself been assessed and accepted as an Assured Service Provider.
This dual-layer assurance means that when clients engage with Quorum, they are working with a team that has been vetted for both competence and integrity.
