Quorum are a Microsoft Solutions Partner and a Microsoft Tier 1 Cloud Solutions Provider IT Consultancy firm based in Scotland. We currently hold 5 out of 6 Microsoft Designations and 3 specialisations in Calling for Microsoft Teams, Cloud Security and Identity and Access Management.
We are currently looking to add additional permanent Managed Services IT Analysts to our rapidly growing Managed Services team. From desktop support through to server and cloud projects, the role promises a varied and interesting exposure to a broad range of technologies including Office 365 and Microsoft Azure.
The role of an IT Support Analyst:
- Resolving support requests directly from managed service clients, using existing skills and knowledge where appropriate and using relevant support and vendor resources to find resolution.
- Client Site visits on a rotational basis.
- Proactively reviewing automated alerts and responding as required through to resolution.
- System administration, hands on fixes, installation/upgrade and patching of Microsoft based servers and desktops.
- Performing advanced troubleshooting which may also include working together with Microsoft and other vendors.
What we are looking for:
- Individuals capable of effectively managing their work queues. This involves the conscientious handling of tickets, ensuring regular updates and the inclusion of relevant data.
- We encourage proactive ownership, empowering team members to lead initiatives for efficiency improvements and impactful service enhancements.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and deal with multiple tasks as required.
- Strong Microsoft Technology skills – Teams Administration, Azure Administration, Azure Virtual Desktops etc.
- Current Microsoft certification or ability to demonstrate a similar level of knowledge.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals, strong teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
Technologies:
- Experience of deploying and managing network devices such as Cisco, Meraki or similar would be an advantage.
- Previous experience of working within an IT Managed Services provider environment with multiple clients would be an advantage.
