Quorum are a Microsoft Solutions Partner and a Microsoft Tier 1 Cloud Solutions Provider IT Consultancy firm in Scotland who currently hold 5 out of 6 Microsoft Designations and 3 specialisations in Calling for Microsoft Teams, Cloud Security and Identity and Access Management.
We are currently looking to add an IT Project Manager to our team on a permanent basis.

Key Role Responsibilities:
- Project planning and control through developing, maintaining plans and managing the project deliverables.
- Provide day-to-day management of projects by leading the planning and implementation of projects during the project lifecycle.
- Work with key stakeholders to agree the scope, timeline, milestones and budget of projects and ensure that the project is running in accordance with the agreed plan.
- Continuously identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies during the project lifecycle.
- Continuously evaluate mitigation plans for risks and issues whilst escalating where necessary.
- Manage the change control process should the need arise.
- Ensure that the team complies with the client’s internal policies and any relevant governance framework.
- Ensure milestones are delivered to agreed specifications.
- Define and Manage testing requirements and/or activities.
- Resource planning across multiple teams including business, technology and 3rd party suppliers.
- Schedule and lead all project meetings from start up to finish which includes regular and ad hoc site meetings where required.
- Produce and provide regular project and financial reports to nominated stakeholders identifying any variances and how these are to be managed or mitigated.
- Effectively manage client interaction as part of the overall project management process while on site.
- Perform comprehensive project evaluations and post-project reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing lessons learned.
- Facilitating the preliminary scoping and assessment of potential project opportunities prior to formal project initiation.
- Coach/assist in the training and development of your peers within the Project Management Office and other team members across Quorum in matters relating to Quorum’s project management processes and standards.
To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in Project Management within Small, Medium or Enterprise organisations.
- A relevant qualification such as PRINCE 2 or equivalent.
- The ability to fully demonstrate that you have successfully delivered complex multi-stream technology projects on-time and within budget whilst encompassing the full project life cycle.
- Proficiency in effectively overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Portfolio management experience across a range of project types aligned to a Managed Service delivery model.
- Experience of project delivery in an energy company, the public sector, experience of the financial services and/or legal organisations would be of benefit.
- Tangible experience covering General Data Protection Regulation and integration with project delivery including the Privacy Impact Assessment process is desirable.
