Quorum are one of the largest Microsoft Gold Partners in Scotland and a Microsoft Direct Cloud Solutions Provider. We are currently looking for a self-driven, highly motivated Modern Workplace Practice Lead to join our team on a permanent basis.
The Modern Workplace Practice Lead will lead and support their team members to define and deliver solutions for our clients. The Practice Lead will be responsible for the management of their team’s technical competency and skills, creating solutions, process, and tools.
Working closely with our clients, sales and business development teams and account managers during the pre-sales process, to design and estimate solutions their team will deliver. We are looking for someone who has proven experience working within a senior consultancy role, with a strong aptitude for leading a team of consultants and the successful delivery of client projects.
The role itself will involve:
Leadership:
- Creating a highly capable, high performing team within the Microsoft Modern Workplace practice area.
- Creating and communicating a vision for the practice to their team members and leadership team.
- Managing people and ensuring that each team member performs their role in line with Quorum’s culture and values.
- Defining skill development plans for each consultant; nominate and manage specialists and skill sets related to Microsoft Partner Competencies.
- Conducting annual reviews for each team member and ensure performance issues are resolved.
- Planning for team growth and participating in recruiting process.
- Providing technical and strategic leadership to team members.
- Ensuring all team members use and understand Quorum’s processes and tools.
- Ensuring all team members maintain and obtain appropriate certifications to achieve Microsoft partnership level goals.
Customer & Project Delivery:
- Provide pre-sales solution and estimation support.
- Coach practice members to provide great solutions to our clients.
- Ensuring all team members are competent and capable of delivering our solutions and services.
- Collaborating with sales team to ensure that our estimates and pre-sales process support business goals.
- Acting as point of escalation for technical questions and assist team in solving them.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Microsoft 365 solution engineering experience.
- Consulting experience.
- Strong team leadership skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong aptitude for managing employee performance.
