MARKETING MANAGER
Quorum is one of the largest Microsoft Partner’s in Scotland, as well as a Microsoft Direct Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP). We are currently looking to add a permanent Marketing Manager to join our small marketing team. Reporting directly into the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for delivering high quality marketing output across campaigns, content, social and events – turning agreed priorities into consistent, credible activity that supports brand, sales and growth.
The Marketing team genuinely care about Quorum and the work they do, and whilst they have worked closely together for a long time, are genuinely excited to welcome someone new who will complement their skills and bring fresh energy. The team work hard, take a great deal of pride in what they produce, there is a lot of trust, humour and care in how they work and they are looking for someone who will enjoy being part of a close-knit team and add their own sparkle to what the team does.
The role of a Marketing Manager
Campaign delivery
- Plan and deliver campaigns against agreed priorities.
- Coordinate activity across content, social, events and follow up.
- Keep campaigns moving and on track without constant oversight.
Content & brand
- Copywriting.
- Create and refine content across various formats (social, articles, web, collateral).
- Ensure messaging is clear, engaging and aligned with Quorum’s tone and positioning.
- Act as a first line of quality control.
- Bring creative judgement: what looks good, what sounds right, what’s off‑brand.
Social media
- Manage and grow Quorum’s social media presence (particularly LinkedIn).
- Build a practical view of what “good” looks like for Quorum on social, and how we work towards it.
- Plan social activity as part of campaigns (not ad‑hoc posting).
- Track engagement and feed insight back into planning.
Events & coordination
- Plan and coordinate marketing events (with support from the team).
- Manage pre and post event content and follow up.
- Ensure events align with wider campaigns and priorities.
Sales & stakeholder collaboration
- Work with sales, service and technical teams to pull out usable insight.
- Help keep sales materials and presentations materials sharp, accurate and on brand.
- Translate stakeholder input into clear, usable marketing outputs.
What we are looking for:
This is a hands‑on delivery role for someone who can work independently at pace, make good judgement calls, and take ownership of getting work finished to a high standard. It is a commercially minded role with strong judgement and accountability.
- Proven experience delivering B2B marketing campaigns.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent) and comfortable creating/handling visual assets.
- Strong writing, editing and messaging skills – able to make content sound human and “on brand”.
- Confident social media practitioner (especially LinkedIn) who understands how to grow presence and create content that delivers results.
- Strong organisation and delivery skills – able to juggle priorities.
- Strong creative judgement: design eye, layout sense, confidence.
- Excellent PowerPoint capability – able to build and improve decks sales want to use.
- Comfortable working with a typical Microsoft/SMB marketing stack and collaborating closely in a small team.
Whilst not essential, it would be beneficial if you could demonstrate experience of:
- Event management experience.
- Experience in professional services, technology, or similar sectors.
- Familiarity with CRM‑supported marketing environments.
- Understanding of how to utilise AI for productivity without relying on it for creative judgement.
