POWER BI CONSULTANT

The role of a Power BI Consultant:

• Work with our clients to scope out their dashboard and reporting requirements.
• Produce design documents including dimensional models and report wireframes.
• Build reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and develop ETL processes to populate dashboards.
• Provide advice on Power BI and Fabric best practices to our clients.
• Provide training to clients and team members.

What we are looking for:

• Good customer facing skills – able to run requirements workshops with internal and external customers and document solutions.
• Reporting experience with Power BI, or a similar reporting platform such as Tableau or Qlik.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Fabric is beneficial; however, the necessary skills can be acquired through on-the-job training.
• Good communication skills both verbally and written.
• Self-motivated and able to take ownership of tasks and projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Any statistics skills would be advantageous.
